Video Design

Experience creating microvideos, and webinars using software such as Adobe Premiere and Camtasia. I have access to asset libraries and can create custom assets as needed using tools like Photoshop and Illustrator. This is a sample video for the instructional tool The Opus Project, LLC, created for our higher ed partners.

Project Management

I have managed projects with teams running from 5 to 10 team members. Both projects illustrated on the right were completed on time and came in on-budget. I have experience with SCRUM project management and can operate in remote and in-person environments.

Job Aids
I have experience creating job aids to assist with a number of different functions, from using novel instructional technology, keeping LMS pages up to date, or learning Office 365 technology.

My guides focus on being descriptive using both language and imagery while limiting unnecessary language or confusing terminology. I have experience developing skill-based guides and technical guides.
Ideally, when creating training, I keep my presentations short and multi-media heavy. I combine video demonstrations with short guides and imagery.

Workflow Automation/Organizational Consulting

Automating work place functions and reducing organizational bloat is key to streamlining instructional processes. Using Office 365 environments, I can streamline email communications, internal requests, and scheduling. 

The flexibility offered by tools like power automate and power apps allows institutions to create personalized solutions to their unique business problems.

LMS Administration/Course Design
Using Canvas and Moodle, I have created and administered courses with focused learning outcomes. I have specific certifications from LinkedIn Learning courses relating to Moodle and have served as a Canvas Administrator and educator in a school setting.

My experiences include integrating various types of media and third party plugins into both LMSs as well as deploying assessment tools and analytical engines on both a micro and macro scale to analyze learner performance for organizations and individual courses.

Assessment Design

Developing assessments is a key function for any instructional designer. As a designer, this has been the cornerstone of my experience in designing courses and solutions and I have found interesting and unique ways to assess a variety of skills.

Using tools like Adobe Captivate, LMS assessment tools and rubric design I create assessments that can simulate software or technical based skills while also creating assessments that can be used to evaluate soft skills as well.
